DTF Transfer Application Instructions
Applying your transfers is easy — just follow these steps and dial in your settings. No guesswork, no wasted blanks.
Step-by-Step Application
- 1. Pre-press your garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture.
- 2. Position your transfer where you want it on the garment.
- 3. Press with the recommended time, temp, and pressure (see below).
- 4. Peel the carrier film while it’s hot (our transfers are fast).
- 5. Cover with your cover sheet of choice.
- 6. Press again for 10 seconds to lock it in.
- 7. Wait 24 hours before washing or stretching. Seriously — let it cure.
Cotton, Blends & Most Materials
- Temp: 300ºF
- Time: 12-15 seconds
- Pressure: Firm
Polyester & Sensitive Materials
- Temp: 275ºF
- Time: 10–12 seconds
- Pressure: Firm
Pro Tip: Every heat press is a little different — if you're not sure, test on a spare garment first. Better safe than sorry.
